Education/Workforce Development (EWD) Fall 2019 Project Call

PRE-SOLICITATION OVERVIEW

ARM is currently soliciting input on the upcoming ARM-EWD-19-03 project call.  This project call is different from the previous EWD project calls in that ARM is requesting that bidders collect information around critical data assets. The project results will be housed in an ARM-created online repository to be shared across the ARM Membership. This data will inform, create, and refine the ARM Member education and workforce ecosystem asset map. A preliminary sketch of the data asset sheet is included in the attached MS Excel file called ARM-EWD-19-03 Project Call Anticipated Project Outcomes. The project teams will recommend the technical solution for how you will best capture the requested data in your project proposal.

This project call involves a single-step process having a submission, review and selection stage. The goal of this single-step process is to quickly and efficiently solicit project concepts, inviting only those teams with the most promising proposals to proceed directly to contract negotiations with most or all of the necessary documentation completed.

The scope of the project proposal and the collection of assets ought to be within a specific ARM Regional Robotic Collaborative (RRC) as designated in the RRC map in Figure 6 of the project call document. ARM would like to award one project in each of the 8 RRCs.

This project call will be a shorter time frame and will have a one-step proposal process.  These changes are outlined in our project call document. The period of performance is anticipated to be 6 months.

Submissions will be accessible on the front page of ARM Member Community. If you do not have access to Member Community, please request log-in credentials at [email protected]
