10 Reasons to Attend the Member Meeting: #6 ARM Member Community

September 28, 2018

We are looking forward to convening the nation’s leading robotics, manufacturing, and education/workforce development experts from across the country in Pittsburgh in 36 days at our National Member Meeting. Our agenda, which can be accessed in the Member Community, includes sessions for new members, stakeholder feedback, networking opportunities, council and committee meetings, important ARM updates, and more. This week, our reason to attend focuses on better understanding the ARM Digital Member Community.

Reason #5 to Attend: ARM Community

Community ScreenshotIn May, we unveiled our new community platform where members can connect across our entire ecosystem, share news and events, submit project proposals, engage with various ARM Groups, like our Regional Collaboratives, and more. We also have further enhancements planned for our community that we will be unveiling later this fall. It’s critical for our members to feel comfortable using the Community because it is the only method through which we accept project proposals.

We’ve seen great engagement in the Community so far, but with new project calls on the way and new features, we want to ensure that all of our members understand how to best utilize the system. Throughout the event, we will be offering various opportunities for you to learn more about the Community. Our opening reception will feature hands-on demo stations where you can ask ARM staff about the platform and give your feedback on the current state of the Community. Additionally, you will notice more Community mentions during our general sessions.

Reminder: Registration is now open for our National Member Meeting and can be accessed through the ARM Community by selecting “Member Meeting” from the top navigation. Participation is complimentary and only open to members, but pre-registration is required. Not sure of your Community login? Email [email protected]
