10 Reasons to Attend the Member Meeting: #2 New Member Welcome

August 31, 2018

During the ARM National Member Meeting on November 5-7, ARM will convene the nation’s leaders in the robotics ecosystem to solve complex problems in manufacturing. Last week we highlighted the networking opportunities, this week our reason to attend is geared towards those who did not attend the 2017 Meeting.

Reason 2: New Member Welcome Session

Open to all members but designed specifically for those who did not participate in our 2017 Meeting, our New Member Welcome session acts as an introduction to ARM, our team, what to expect from the event, our governance policies, and more. We’ll highlight the basics of ARM to give you needed background for the rest of the meeting, but we have also built in ample time to answer your questions.

To best prepare for the session, we encourage our members to review the Member Guide, which can be accessed in the ARM Community by selecting Groups from the top navigation and clicking on the Welcome Group. This document will help to inform what aspects of ARM you’d like to learn more about during the session.

This session is planned for the first day of the Member Meeting (Nov. 5) in the late afternoon. Directly following is our first networking activity of the meeting, allowing our new members to connect with those who have been involved since the beginning.

As a reminder, Meeting participation is limited to members only and is complimentary. Registration will open in September. Not a member, but interested in attending? Click here to learn more about joining ARM.
