ARM Institute Welcomes Additions to Government Strategic Team
The ARM (Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing) Institute recently welcomed two additions to the institute’s government strategic team: Michael Hollis has joined as the ARM Institute’s Deputy Program Manager and Aaron Sasson has joined as a Senior Program Manager supporting the ARM Institute through the PM2 Strategies team.
Michael Hollis has worked for both the Army Research Laboratory and Armament Center as a Munitions Engineer. During his career, Michael has designed, built, and tested various prototypes and fielded systems. His focus is now on more broadly improving the U.S Industrial Base. In his role working with the ARM Institute, Michael will collaborate closely with Greg Hudas, the ARM Institute’s Government Program Manager, on advising the ARM Institute on best practices for government interactions and strategic focus areas.
The ARM Institute also welcomed Aaron Sasson from PM2 Strategies as a Senior Program Manager supporting the ARM Institute’s government team. Aaron provides senior program support services and strategic policy recommendations to government leadership regarding the DoD Manufacturing Innovation Institutes (MIIs). Prior to this role, he served nearly 25 years in the United States Air Force, specializing in aircraft maintenance and sustainment, logistics, and supply chain management, retiring in 2022 at the rank of colonel.
Michael and Aaron join the ARM Institute’s core government support team, which includes Greg Hudas (Government Program Manager), Harry Pierson (Government Chief Technology Advisor), Abhai Kumar (Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Liaison), and Scott Leonard (Government Strategic Advisor from PM2 Strategies).
“The ARM Institute is honored to have high-caliber experts on our government team to advise us on how to best serve the Department of Defense,” Noted Ira Moskowitz, ARM Institute CEO, “We’d like to formally welcome both Michael and Aaron, whom we have already worked with in various capacities in the past. Our government team is key to ensuring that the ARM Institute’s strategy and activities serve both the manufacturing industry at-large, as well as specific needs within the Defense Industrial Base.”
ARM Members can connect directly with the ARM Institute government team during our Annual Member Meeting, taking place Sept. 23-25 in Pittsburgh, PA. The Annual Member Meeting is free to attend but open only to ARM Members.
