July 28, 2026 – The ARM (Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing) Institute is proud to announce its 2026 Education & Workforce Advisory Committee (EWAC) members. The EWAC is comprised of ARM Members and helps to drive the institute’s Education & Workforce Development (EWD) strategy through monthly meetings and focused collaboration. This work includes forming working groups to collaborate on special strategic topics, providing input into the strategy for RoboticsCareer.org, and more. This committee meets on a monthly basis to drive forward the ARM Institute’s national strategy for empowering a skilled, agile, and ready manufacturing workforce.
The ARM Institute welcomed the following new committee members to its EWAC earlier this summer following a competitive application process:

- Kirk Davis, Executive Director, Center for Advanced Manufacturing Puget Sound (CAMPS)
- Liz Callahan, Director of External Affairs and Special Programs, EWI
- Jenna Pilat, Organizational Strategist, International Academy of Automation Engineering (IAAE)
- Thomas Pope, Director of Engineering, Butler Tech
- Ted Rozier, Director of Digital, Advanced Technology and Robotics/Head of Solution Center North America, Festo Didactic
- Jay Mehta, Chief Operating Officer, Unmudl
- Dylan Shanahan, Global Training Manager, Americas, Teradyne/Universal Robots
- Khaz Bailey, Assistant Vice President, External Engagement & Community Development, Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland
The new committee members join the following existing EWAC members: Claire Korschinowski (Dean of Instruction: Aerospace, Manufacturing, Technology, and Workforce Development at Clover Park Technical College), Terri Sandu (Director, Talent and Business Innovation at Lorain County Community College), Brandon Hudson (Director, Office of Workforce Development at SkillsUSA), and Brett Doudican (Curriculum Supervisor at Greene County Career Center).
The ARM Institute extends its appreciation to the following ARM Members who recently completed their term on our EWAC: Corey Adams (Teradyne/Universal Robots), Graham Celine (Intelitek), Clint Chapman (Yaskawa), Dave Heckman (Office of the Secretary of War), Ritch Ramey (A3), Andy Schaafs (previously REC Foundation), Paul Boulware (Arctos), and Brian Wilson (Fanlayer). These ARM Members provided invaluable expertise that continues to have a lasting impact on the ARM Institute’s work to grow and empower the US manufacturing workforce.
The EWAC is one of several ARM Institute advisory councils and committees comprised of ARM Member experts. The ARM Institute also has a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) that provides input into the institute’s technical strategy, a joint Stakeholder Executive Council and Champions Council that acts as the voice of the member consortium and provides feedback into member offerings, and an Endorsement Council comprised of organizations that have received ARM Institute Endorsement that meets to share training program best practices for robotics and physical AI roles in manufacturing.
