Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing Names Lisa Masciantonio to Position of Chief Workforce Officer
Ms. Masciantonio appointed by ARM Board of Directors
October 14, 2019 – Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) is pleased to announce that Lisa Masciantonio has been named Chief Workforce Officer. Lisa has been with ARM nearly since its inception working as the Director of Membership & Outreach until June 2019 when she was named Interim Chief Workforce Officer.
Lisa Masciantonio demonstrates considerable expertise in workforce development. Prior to joining ARM, she worked at Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute and the CMMI Institute where she managed their global Partner Network. She was responsible for transitioning and licensing technologies, courses, tools, methods and capabilities as well as creating and managing the necessary certifications for those who delivered these capabilities around the world.
During her time as the Interim Chief Workforce Officer, Lisa convened ARM’s first Solutions Summit. The ideas generated during this summit led to the call content for ARM’s 2019 Education & Workforce Development Project Call. This call is currently available only to ARM Members through the Online Member Community but will be shared publicly in late November. Also, during this interim period, Lisa moved each of the 11 Education & Workforce Development Projects selected prior to her appointment as Interim CWO from the selected stage to contracted and performing.
“The Board of Directors and ARM Team extends their gratitude to Lisa for accepting this appointment,” noted ARM CEO, Dr. Byron Clayton. “Lisa has brought tremendous value to ARM through each of her roles and we are excited for her to continue building on the momentum in ARM’s Education & Workforce Development function. ARM’s workforce development initiatives are critical to securing America’s future in manufacturing and Lisa has proven herself more than capable of leading these critical activities.”
