The robotics and manufacturing industries are only as strong as the opportunities they provide. The ARM Institute is dedicated to lowering the barriers for careers in robotics for manufacturing and has funded projects targeting underrepresented populations for workforce development. Additionally, the institute featured a Women in Manufacturing panel discussion at the Annual ARM Member Meeting that sought to connect women from across the ARM Institute membership and discuss ways to make robotics more inclusive.
“The recognition of so many women leaders from our membership demonstrates the expertise and diversity of the ARM Institute ecosystem,” noted Ira Moskowitz, ARM CEO, “We are proud to work with these industry leaders and extend our congratulations to all of the women recognized. Representation within manufacturing needs to continue evolving and we seek to be an impactful piece in this evolution.”
“I am humbled and honored to be recognized alongside these amazing women,” noted Lisa Masciantonio, ARM Chief Workforce Officer, “I am immensely proud of the opportunities the ARM Institute has provided for women and other underrepresented groups and look forward to continuing this work. I’d like to thank SME for this honor and for recognizing the importance of diversity in robotics and manufacturing.”
