Project
This project centers on the creation of a summer camp for students in middle school and high school. The camp culminates in a robotics competition where students showcase the skills they learned. By creating a more engaging method for learning STEM skills and leveraging a community college for the camp’s location, more students will be exposed to STEM education and alternative training paths, strengthening the manufacturing workforce pipeline.
Objective
Expose middle school students to careers in manufacturing through a robotics summer camp and competition.
