Welcome to the Virtual Exhibit Hall and Robotic Demo Tour for our Robotics for Inspection Workshop!
While we won’t be live-streaming the guided tours of our robotics demos, we have prepared videos of the robotics demonstrations that our attendees are exploring in-person on this page. Note that guided tours will take place from approximately 11:25 AM ET – 12:25 PM ET. Please feel welcome to explore the videos during this time or during the lunch time directly following the guided tours. Lunch will also not be livestreamed and will take place from 12:25 PM – 1:25 PM.
Robotics Demonstrations:
Robotics Manufacturing Hub Robotics Demo Stop
This video shows just a small sample of our Robotics Manufacturing Hub robotics demonstrations. The ARM Institute’s Robotics Manufacturing Hub provides free consulting and resources to help manufacturers understand if/how implementing robotics can enhance their competitiveness at no cost. Our team will also work with the manufacturer to prototype robotics solutions for them using our member consortium and equipment available in our high bay in Pittsburgh.

Through a grant awarded by the Department of Commerce to the Southwestern Pennsylvania New Economy Collaborative, the ARM Institute and RIDC are working with four regional Innovation Accelerators for robotics, formerly called Makerspaces, in Southwestern Pennsylvania. The Innovation Accelerators, located in Allegheny, Armstrong, Cambria, Indiana, and Westmoreland counties in Pennsylvania, will provide regional manufacturers and entrepreneurs with access to equipment, knowledge, and other resources.
As a private nonprofit with an economic development mission, RIDC combines a community service orientation with the entrepreneurial approach and expertise of a private sector business. RIDC partners with community leaders on development projects designed to spark transformational change.
