10 Reasons to Attend the Member Meeting: #1 Networking

August 24, 2018

Join us in Pittsburgh, PA Nov. 5-7 for our second annual National Member Meeting! In 2017, we hosted more than 200 attendees from across 100 organizations. This year, with more than 160 members, we look forward to welcoming even more experts from across the robotics, workforce, and manufacturing ecosystems.

Over the next few weeks leading up to the Member Meeting, we will be sharing our top ten reasons to attend. Attendance is complimentary for members. Interested in attending, but you aren’t a member of ARM? Click here to learn more about how to join.

Reason #1: Networking

Since our first National Member Meeting in November 2017, our membership has grown approximately 66% — to more than 160 members — and continues to expand each day. ARM believes that providing dedicated time for our membership base to network is critical to generating the best solutions to the robotics and workforce issues affecting the national manufacturing landscape.

Our 2018 meeting will feature ample time across the 2.5 day meeting to network with a broad consortium that bridges the gap between academia, industry, and government. From start-up organizations to large manufacturers, from traditional four-year universities to accelerated training programs, ARM believes that by connecting the robotics ecosystem in one room, we can solve the complex technology and workforce problems surrounding the state of manufacturing in the U.S.

Our Member Meeting features diverse opportunities for networking from casual peer networking time, to more project and issue focused conversations. This time allows our members to connect, better understand capabilities of organizations from across the country, and brainstorm project ideas and solutions.
