ARM Recognized with RBR50 Robotics Innovation Award

June 22, 2020

ARM has been recognized as a 2020 RBR50 Robotics Innovation Award Winner! ARM received this distinction due to our unique new headquarters – Mill 19 at Hazelwood Green. ARM moved into Mill 19 in July 2019 and is co-located with Carnegie Mellon University’s Manufacturing Futures Initiative. ARM Member Catalyst Connection is located on the third floor of the building.

Each year since 2012, Robotics Business Review has produced the RBR50 Robotics Innovation Awards, which recognize and celebrate forward thinking companies and the original, impactful solutions they have created. Widely recognized throughout the world as a leading indicator of robotics innovation leadership, the RBR50 Robotics Innovation Awards are also a critical measure of robotics sector growth.

The fact that the ARM Institute is co-located with Carnegie Mellon University’s Manufacturing Futures Initiative makes it easier for ARM’s robotics and workforce projects to take advantage of manufacturing research incorporating artificial intelligence and other digital technologies. Finally, ARM’s new facility bolsters Pittsburgh’s regional robotics capabilities, and by extension, the global reputation of the Pittsburgh robotics cluster. – Dan Kara

The following ARM Members were also recognized with RBR50 Robotics Innovation Awards: Boston Dynamics, Harmonic Drive, Intel, MassRobotics, Veo Robotics, Waypoint Robotics, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and Yaskawa Motoman.
