ARM Institute Introduces New Employer Capabilities on RoboticsCareer.org
RoboticsCareer.org, the ARM Institute’s national workforce capability, connects and supports thousands of job seekers, students, employers, and training providers to strengthen U.S manufacturing.
March 6, 2025 – The ARM (Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing) Institute is proud to announce new features and capabilities available on RoboticsCareer.org to help employers and hiring manufacturers connect to qualified workers. Designed using input from the Institute’s 450+ industry partner organizations, RoboticsCareer.org supports students and workers throughout their full robotics journey, connects hiring manufacturers to qualified job seekers, and helps schools and training programs engage with potential new students.
Millions of manufacturing roles are at risk of being left unfilled in the coming years. RoboticsCareer.org was created to address this historic workforce gap by increasing interest in manufacturing roles and supporting students and workers at each stage of their manufacturing journey – from getting started with their training to connecting to jobs and upskilling opportunities. In 2024 alone, close to 100,000 individuals used RoboticsCareer.org to connect to jobs, training, internships, and other resources, an increase of 160% over the prior year.
The ARM Institute’s new capabilities on RoboticsCareer.org are specifically targeted at helping manufacturers and other organizations pursuing robotics talent connect to qualified job seekers. The capabilities connect to the robotics skills that the ARM Institute and the robotics institute’s partners defined as being key to these roles.
“As with all of our capabilities on RoboticsCareer.org, we built these new features using input from subject matter experts from across the ARM Institute consortium,” noted Lisa Masciantonio, ARM Institute Chief Workforce Officer, “RoboticsCareer.org plays a key role in helping our nation’s manufacturers navigate their workforce shortages and connect to the talent they need to enhance their competitiveness. Around 8,000 individuals use RoboticsCareer.org each month, epitomizing the interest students and job seekers have in robotics. RoboticsCareer.org is the key connection that shows students how these skills translate to an important and meaningful manufacturing career.”
Explore the New Capabilities:
The new employer-focused capabilities include:
- Enhanced Talent Database Search Functionality: Hiring employers can now search for talent based on the skills the job seeker has with an increased emphasis on the skills that an individual has applied in a professional setting. When the ARM Institute began building the new employer features, hiring managers and HR representatives noted that a pain point with other sites was the inability to see which skills a candidate has applied in a professional setting; the new capabilities on RoboticsCareer.org uniquely addresses this
- Automated Email Notifications: Employers can now opt into regular emails that keep them updated on new candidates who match the skills they are seeking.
- Ability to Identify Graduates of Endorsed Training Programs: ARM Institute Endorsement evaluates and endorses the nation’s most effective training programs for robotics careers in manufacturing. Employers can now see if a job candidate has graduated from an ARM Institute Endorsed Program on their profile.
You can access tutorials and other resources for recruiters and hiring employers here or by emailing [email protected].
Additionally, the release includes new capabilities for job seekers and students, including:
- Profile Preview: Job seekers can preview how their profile appears to employers.
- Ability to Add the Endorsement Badge: Graduates of ARM Institute Endorsed training programs can now add the Endorsement badge to their profiles to showcase to employers that their education was evaluated and endorsed by industry experts.
