The ARM Institute Robotics Manufacturing Hub team recently got into the holiday spirit by creating videos of our robots tackling holiday tasks. While the robots take on festive actions, like unwrapping a gift and scanning a nutcracker for defects, our team used existing functionality we created for real manufacturers at our headquarters for these videos.
Present Robotic Pick & Place
In this video, we demonstrate pick and place capabilities for manufacturers. Automating your pick and place tasks speeds production and frees up your human workers to take more more value-add tasks in your manufacturing facility.
Inspection
Quality inspection is a key task for any manufacturer. This video shows how our team added collaborative robot (or cobot) to a manufacturer’s existing inspection set-up, automating ergonomically uncomfortable work and saving the manufacturer money. By retrofitting a cobot to the manufacturer’s existing set-up, the manufacturer saved money. Our team of experts can help you determine if a robot can be added to your existing lines.
Packaging & Logistics
Packaging may seem like a simple task but what about moving delicate cookies wrapped in plastic? That’s exactly the issue our team solved for a manufacturer.
Machining
Our team has added new automated machining capabilities to our HQ. Here, we machine the ARM Institute logo from metal. Want to dive deeper into robotic machine tending? Attend our upcoming workshop.
Robotic Machine Tending
This video shows a robot unloading a present from a CNC machine. Robotic machine tending enables faster production and greater efficiency for a variety of parts and materials. Want to dive deeper into robotic machine tending? Attend our upcoming workshop.
Collaborative Robots
Cobots can take on a variety of tasks, using less space than industrial robots and working closer with humans. In this video, a robot unwraps a holiday gift; in its original application, it handles grippy material that is used for gloves, gaming controllers, eyeglass grips, and others.
