Five Questions with Titan Robotics

March 25, 2026

ARM Institute Members vary in their focus areas, sizes, and history, but one common thread unites each organization: a drive to build the future of US manufacturing. Each of member organization leverages their strengths and areas of expertise to secure a brighter future for the US workforce, a stronger Organic Industrial Base (OIB), and a more resilient manufacturing economy. We bridge the gaps between industry, academia, and government to solve complex issues inhibiting the ability for the US to be a global leader in manufacturing output. To do this, we convene every stakeholder across manufacturing – from manufacturers themselves, technology providers, and defense suppliers to universities and community colleges, start-ups, and others.

This month, our five questions interview features ARM Member Brian Kornish, Program Manager at Titan Robotics. In this interview, Brian takes us through his experience working on ARM Institute-funded projects, the impact these projects and Titan’s membership has had on their business, his advice for ARM Members who are looking to get more involved, and more.

1. Can you start by telling us about your role at Titan Robotics and give us some background on the work that Titan does?

I serve as a Program Manager at Titan. Titan Robotics, Inc. provides adaptive autonomous robotic solutions for industrial applications to manufacturing and repair organizations, innovating on the dimensions of intelligence, accuracy, precision, complexity, and scale.

2. Titan Robotics has participated in several ARM Institute Projects. Can you tell us about your experience participating in ARM Institute projects? How are ARM Institute projects different from others that you’ve worked on?

I am currently the Program Manager for three ARM Institute projects: Agile Autonomous Mobile Manipulator (A2M2), Collaborative Agile Autonomous Mobile Manipulator (CAAMM) Market Survey and Requirements Specification, and CAAMM Robotic Inspection System for Enhanced Casting & Forging Reliability (RISER). We love acronyms: A2M2, CAAMM MARS, and CAAMM RISER.

ARM Institute projects are different because of the consortium members. Outside of the ARM Institute, it is unlikely that anyone will know about the work of a project besides the customer and the supplier. With ARM Institute projects, the work of each consortium member is shared with others in the consortium.

3. Can you tell our readers about how your participation as an ARM Member or participation in ARM Institute projects may have helped Titan secure new partnerships, customers, and/or business opportunities?

ARM Institute Project Calls are an important way for us to win new business and bring our technology to new customers. ARM has also been a trusted partner for government customers to bring Titan technology into new market segments. For example, Titan is now developing cobot-centric solutions, which is something we were able to prioritize because of an ARM Project Call.

4. What advice do you have for other ARM Members who are looking to get more involved in ARM Institute projects?

Use the ARM Institute events, like the ARM Institute Annual Member Meeting, to introduce your firm and your technology to the ARM Institute government team. It is too late to do this when a project call is released.

5. What would you tell ARM Members who might be interested in collaborating with Titan Robotics?

Make sure you understand Titan’s business and that you can articulate how your firm’s technology complements our technology. We have a long history of working with other firms to integrate their end effector processes onto our robotic systems.
