This project focuses on providing underrepresented communities with low-cost STEM training opportunities, building a new pipeline of manufacturing talent.

Project

Transportation often acts as a barrier to secondary training and educational opportunities. This project addresses this barrier with the creation of a mobile training lab that can target communities where transportation and access to continued education are barriers to entering the workforce. Making STEM training mobile offers versatility in demographic targeting at a low-cost. This project will also include partnerships with local parks, library and recreation departments.

Objective

Expose students to opportunities in STEM education, specifically targeting populations who may not have access to training or STEM training with real-world applications.
